An Electrical engineer by qualification. She graduated from the University of Johannesburg in 2006 with a BEng Electrical & Electronic and a BSc IT. Keitumetse spent 10 years working in the engineering sector, her focus was primarily on automation and covered various industries before heading to Kuala Lumpur to complete an MBA at a school which MIT had just started called Asia School of Business in Collaboration with MIT Sloan.
During her MBA she volunteered as a startup mentor with the likes of Google and TechStars. However, the most meaningful project that she had an opportunity to work on was her MBA summer internship in Timor-Leste building a tech incubator with the UNDP.
She came back to SA in 2018 and started Mulika Technology. Mulika Technology was born out of a passion for technology, data science and development. It provides engineering consulting services as well as intelligent technological tools for entrepreneurs and startups on the African continent.
In 2021 she gained a Master of Science in Management Studies with a focus on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Strategic Management.
Her entrepreneurship experience covers being invited to showcase at global startup conferences such as Collision Conference, being on both sides of an incubator (as a startup and as a mentor), and having started and failed at running her startups in South Africa and abroad. Keitumetse has unique technological, coaching and entrepreneurship insights and skills to share.
